Following our intentions to further develop the overall quality of the organization, Convergence participated the Lean Awareness Experience in a simulated bicycle factory.
Visualizing the well-known theory about Lean really helped to translate theory into practice.
This week Convergence started to map out the entire process from sales up to the actual delivery of the system. Everyone was asked to think about the process and to name the so called bottlenecks.
In the next couple of weeks Convergence will try to use the Value Stream Mapping method to eliminate waste, reduce lead time and to improve productivity. This will benefit both our company and our customers!
