Last month, three interns started at Convergence – each with their own assignment. We are happy to introduce you to our interns and tell you a little about what they will be doing the coming period.
Koen Knuif joined the Convergence team back in 2017 as an Assembly Assistant. After assembling various systems in the past years, he will be using his skills and knowledge for his Bachelor in Chemical Engineering to get a system back on track after some issues. Documentation as well as knowing how colleagues drink their coffee are critical during this assignment!
Bryan Goosink is competitive – he always wants to win! His mentality will be very useful during his internship for his Bachelor in Business Engineering. Besides designing and building awesome systems, the administrative aspects are very important as well. That is what Bryan’s is focusing on: improving the internal process of quotations. As befits his competitive attitude, he hopes to do more work than just improving the quotation process and is only satisfied once he made a difference! Besides good communication skills, good analyzing skills and to fancy a beer on Fridays are important skills to make this assignment a success.
After completing his Mechanical Engineering education, Tim Meijer started his Bachelor in Mechatronics. As the demand of using our systems for a short period time is rising, Tim is going to develop a rental system to meet this demand and our Triple A standard. Communication and creativity are key in this assignment. By the end of his assignment he hopes to deliver a complete system and to get a good grade as well! During his internship he is not only learning about Convergence and its systems.. he is also improving his dart skills and hopes to win from his colleagues at least once!
We are happy as a team to welcome Koen, Bryan and Tim and wish them all the best and fun at Convergence!
