Convergence Industry B.V. acquires Dovideq Medical B.V.

Last month Convergence Industry B.V. (Convergence) aqcuired all activities of Dovideq Medical B.V. Dovideq’s portfolio consists of endoscope test systems, light cable testers for endoscopes, data matrix scanners and a cloud platform for almost 1000 users of their products. With this acquisition Convergence can focus more on engineering and production activities of medical products. As a result – by adding Dovideq’s knowledge, distribution network and market- Convergence is able to achieve its growth target in this market segment and take advantage of numerous R&D, NPD, production and sales distribution synergies. This transaction is expected to generate employment of 10 to 20 FTE.

About Convergence Industry

Convergence Industry B.V. is a privately-owned technology company with offices in Enschede and Delft, founded in 2010 as a spin-off of the University of Twente. Its main focus is in developing and manufacturing state-of-the-art, fully automated liquid and gas measurement and control systems for research, laboratories and industry. Over the past 10 years, they developed 26 types of membrane research systems and created about 25 OEM products for numerous clients around the world.

They currently have a global, hybrid direct and indirect sales model with a network of authorised distributors and agents. With an installed base of over 800 systems, Convergence provides work for 30 employees. There mission for their products is to be Triple A: Accurate, Automated & Awesome!
