Myron joined our team in February as a R&D/Project Manager. His main focus will be on R&D, we are happy to introduce you to our new member!
Tell us something about yourself
Hi! My name is Myron Plugge, I am 24 years old and recently I graduated as a materials- and molecular engineer at the University of Twente. Having the opportunity to work within the area of my expertise in such a young and rapidly growing company is definitely exciting, and I am looking forward to the interesting things we will be able to create.
What is your role within Convergence?
I am a project/R&D manager, which means that I oversee and participate in both client-issued projects as well as internal research and development projects, though lately I have mostly been occupied with the latter.
What qualities do you need to do this job well?
Every project is unique, and will thus require a unique solution. It is important to remain creative and have the ability to think outside of the box, and once you think up of something: build, test, evaluate and repeat until the desired result has been achieved. Shoot for the stars, but remain ever-critical. Remain true to this philosophy, and there will be no stopping you.
Finish the sentence: you are not satisfied until…
Perfection has been achieved. Unfortunately, it is often nigh on impossible to achieve, so a realistic approximation also works fine by me.
