This international mini-conference covers research into understanding the fundamentals of membrane transport processes, with special attention to aqueous solutions. We discuss recent developments in membrane and system level transport phenomena, multi-phase flows in membrane systems, for membrane technologies including ion exchange membranes, electrodialysis, nanofiltration, and reverse osmosis, as well as for other new promising membrane methodologies.
